Hong Kong

Why Not?

It's been a while since my last post, so I thought I'd give you all a quick update on what I've been up to...

I had my first batch of greeting cards printed and delivered, over 2000! I was surprised at how much room 2000+ cards, cellowraps and envelopes take up! I've only just managed to finish making them look pretty because of a brief stint in Hong Kong with the boyfriend. I'm missing my daily dose of char siu baos.

I haven't got round to photographing them all, but I will once I find a bright sunny day (which is seeming impossible considering the rubbish weather we've been having.)

I've restocked my shop though, lots of lovely cards in different colours available! I'm offering 10% off all orders, just because sometimes it's nice to have monies off ;) Use code WHYNOT at the checkout.

Save the Date

My sister's getting married next year and she's asked me to design her Save the Date cards. I can't remember the last time I picked up a paintbrush so it felt really good to spend the whole day painting. The wedding venue is Nymans Gardens, so I decided to go with a natural theme of trees and flowers. I used watercolour paints as the medium for this image.

Make Lemonade

The range I'm currently working on focuses on my favourite topic: food! The images will be accompanied with food relevant idioms/phrases. This is my latest greeting card design. I loved using such bright colours, also I just love drawing lemons.

Go Team GB!

Thought I'd update you all with what I've been up to seeing as it's been a while since my last post!

The nation's been hit with Olympic Fever, and I was lucky enough to see the Olympic Torch Finale Concert and the Women's and Men's Beach Volleyball! [Courtesy of my lovely sisters :)]

Oh. Em. Gee.

I'm currently working on a new range of cards based on words and phrases. This collection has taken a strong typography turn, which I'm quite enjoying :)

15% off - Friday Feel Good

Yesterday was the Cardgains Charity Walk, I was one of many walking 21 miles from Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge and back to raise money for Cystinosis Foundation UK. The event was a huge success, and my body is now aching all over! It was well worth it though, and we managed to have a few laughs along the way despite the weather's best efforts to dampen the mood! [Photos coming soon!]

To celebrate the success of the charity walk and to carry on this charitable mood, I am offering 15% off any orders made today. Simply enter the code FEELGOOD when you check out. Happy Friday everyone :)
